Customised Barrels: How it Works

Step One: choose a barrel type and size

We have a huge range of full and half barrels. Start by measuring your space and decide on the best size.

Bear in mind that the purpose of your barrel will be important – if you want six people sitting around it in a bar configuration, you’ll want a larger barrel than if you’re looking for corner party decor.

Step Two: choose a barrel finish

Select from four gorgeous treatments, all designed to bring up the best elements of the barrel and help it fit seamlessly into your space.

El Naturale

Sanded to bring up the finish of the wood, but otherwise left in its natural glory.

Polished

Sanded, buffed and polished. Creates a slightly darker, smoother effect.

Distressed - Light

Our unique fire treatment brings up gorgeous patterns and contrast in the wood. Black painted hoops and a touch of polish add to the effect.

Distressed - Dark

It’s our fire treatment taken to the extreme! These barrels have a gorgeous dark rustic finish with black painted hoops and high contrast wood.

Step Three: customise

Add caster wheels, a door, internal shelving, a bar-style kick plate and tabletop, or go all out and turn your barrel into an esky with open sections. The sky’s the limit! If you have a more custom idea, don’t hesitate to ask.
